By Car from London / The North
Take the A1(M) to Hatfield (junction 23 on the M25). Leave the A1(M) at junction 3, at the roundabout take the A1001 to Hatfield.
At the next roundabout beside the Ramada Jarvis Hotel (known locally as The Comet), turn left towards St Albans on the A1057. Go straight on at the next two roundabouts, passing a large Nottcutts Garden Centre on your right. Lyon Way is half a mile beyond this roundabout on the left between the Honda and Nissan car showrooms.
When you turn into Lyon Way after 200 yards take the first right and this will take you around to The Bread Roll Co.
Lyon Way is off the Hatfield Road, the main road which runs from Hatfield to St Albans. We are closer to Hatfield Town Centre and there are regular buses from Hatfield run by Uno (nos 601, 602) and Arriva (nos 300, 301, 724) bus companies. Travelling east get off at the Oaklands bus stop opposite Acrewood Way; travelling west get off at the Oaklands bus top adjacent to Lyon Way. You should be able to see the Brayley Honda showroom.
When you walk into Lyon Way after 200 yards take the first turning on the right and this will take you around to The Bread Roll Co.
Take the train from St Pancras International to St Albans City Station. Alternatively take the train from Luton or Luton Airport Parkway to St Albans City Station. Either get a taxi (readily available) from the station or there are a number of buses (601/602, 300/301, or 724) which stop at the station and go onto Hatfield Road. Ask for the 'Acrewood Way' stop.
Cycling from University of Hertfordshire
